
Senior Director, Trade, Distribution and Patient Services

Role Summary:
The Senior Director of Trade, Distribution and Patient Services is responsible for developing the distribution and dispensing strategy, patient support services strategy and negotiating contracts with hub vendor, specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, home infusion and site of care, while ensuring alignment with and endorsement from senior management. This role will also be integral in overseeing distribution activities of products in the US from third-party logistics vendors through the distribution network to end customers. The Senior Director will oversee and manage patient support programs, develop and implement patient-centric initiatives and work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance the patient experience and improve treatment adherence. The position will also continually monitor and support approved products.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the patient support and distribution strategy for Dyne's products, ensuring seamless patient access and delivery
- Lead selection, contracting, and oversight of key partners, including Hub Services, Specialty Pharmacies, Distributors, and Infusion Providers
- Oversee logistics, inventory, and order management in partnership with Supply Chain to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient product delivery
- Establish and manage vendor performance metrics, budgets, and contracts (e.g., DSAs, Hub Services, Purchase Agreements)
- Ensure compliant operations aligned with Pharma Code, OIG regulations, PHI requirements, and company SOPs
- Develop data and reporting frameworks to ensure integrity, visibility, and analytics across hub, pharmacy, and distribution networks
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Training, Legal, and Compliance to support commercial launch success
- Implement and evolve patient access programs, including co-pay assistance, financial support, and patient education
- Anticipate patient and market needs, integrating innovation and technology to enhance engagement and adherence
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing Trade & Patient Services team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Manage licensing, compliance, and special projects related to trade and patient support services
Education, Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD) preferred
- 12+ years of biopharma experience with deep knowledge of U.S. distribution and channel models (Specialty Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy)
- Proven leadership in trade, distribution, and patient access strategy, including vendor selection, contracting, and process development
- Rare disease and Buy-and-Bill experience (including infusion products) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success partnering with specialty pharmacies and HUB services to deliver seamless patient support and co-pay programs
- Skilled in business planning, financial management, and negotiation of complex service agreements
- Experienced in new product launches and navigating rapidly growing or start-up biotech environments with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong data literacy and analytical skills to translate insights into actionable reporting
- Influential communicator with the ability to simplify complex issues and collaborate across diverse stakeholders
- Embodies an enterprise mindset aligned with company values and culture; committed to leading by example
- Ability to travel up to 40%

MA Pay Range
$242,500 - $291,000 USD
The pay range reflects the base pay range Dyne reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, job-related knowledge, and demonstrated skills.
