Position Summary:

EarnIn is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our Brand Marketing team, focusing on crafting product and brand messaging across a range of owned and paid channels. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on writer who can develop messaging frameworks, craft clear and compelling copy, and help elevate the EarnIn brand across every touchpoint — from our website and app to lifecycle communications, paid campaigns, and product launches.

As a senior member of the creative team, you’ll own the voice and narrative across key brand and product initiatives, ensuring consistency, clarity, and resonance. You’ll collaborate closely with Brand, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Product Design teams to ensure our value propositions are clear, customer-centric, and optimized for performance and brand impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000 - $187,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in our Mountain View, California office.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and own product and brand messaging frameworks, ensuring clear, consistent positioning across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Write and edit copy across a variety of channels, including:
    • Website, product pages, and app content
    • Product marketing materials and in-app messaging
    • Brand campaigns and storytelling content
    • Email, push, and SMS campaigns (LCM)
    • Paid media (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Display)
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Design to craft clear, benefit-driven messaging that helps users understand and engage with EarnIn’s products and features.
  • Partner with the Growth and Performance teams to create and iterate on high-performing, data-informed creative for paid channels.
  • Maintain and evolve EarnIn’s brand voice guidelines, ensuring all teams have clear guardrails for maintaining a cohesive voice and tone across touchpoints.
  • Use performance data and customer insights to continuously optimize and refine messaging strategies for both brand storytelling and conversion.
  • Lead messaging for product launches, ensuring alignment across marketing, product, and brand teams.
  • Stay on top of fintech, personal finance, and consumer behavior trends to ensure our messaging stays relevant and resonates with our audiences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of copywriting experience, with a focus on brand, product, and marketing copywriting.
  • Deep experience writing for both owned and paid channels, and the ability to flex messaging to fit channel, audience, and marketing funnel stage.
  • Strong product storytelling skills — you know how to translate complex product features into clear, benefit-driven messaging that resonates with consumers.
  • Experience working closely with product marketing, brand, creative, growth, and product teams.
  • Experience maintaining or evolving brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Data-savvy mindset — comfortable using performance insights to inform copy and messaging iterations.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments, especially at a fintech, startup, or mobile app-based brand is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills — able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once while collaborating across teams.
  • Proficiency in using AI writing tools and testing platforms
  • Experience with performance-driven creative is a strong plus.
  • A portfolio showcasing short-form, high-impact marketing & product copy (e.g., ads, in-app copy, landing pages, push notifications, scripts).
