The Role

To help us continue our mission of helping people-centered organizations create safe and inclusive workplaces, we are seeking a Revenue Operations Manager to play a crucial role in optimizing and driving the efficiency and efficacy of our revenue-generating processes across the company, including working closely with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships leadership to drive insights into revenue performance and opportunities for optimization along the entire customer lifecycle.

The Revenue Operations Manager is an IC-role that will report into the Chief of Staff and represent our first full-time, dedicated Revenue Operations team member.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Management, Reporting, and Insights:
    • Act as a collaborative business partner to GTM leaders across Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Partnerships, supporting strategy and decision-making
    • Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue data, trends, and KPIs to provide actionable insights on performance drivers and areas for improvement
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking revenue performance and forecasting, including churn and downgrade watchouts
    • Where needed, work closely with Revenue and Engineering leaders on data architecture and ingestion between backend systems and revenue tools, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Forecasting and Performance Tracking:
    • Assist Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, and Chief of Staff in annual planning activities such as revenue forecasting, budgeting, and target setting
    • Develop and maintain monthly rhythms for monitoring pipeline and deal health for new business, renewals, and expansion
    • Track key performance metrics such as lead conversion rates, sales cycle length, and customer retention
  • Revenue Process Optimization:
    • Identify and roll out improvements to optimize the sales and marketing cycle, from lead generation to sales funnel through to customer retention and expansion
    • Support the implementation of streamlined workflows to improve productivity and outcomes across revenue-generating teams along the entire customer journey
    • Own and administer the RevTech stack including the integration of Hubspot, Apollo, Gong, QuotaPath, marketing automation, sale stools, and analytics platforms to enhance revenue processes including implementation of new tooling
    • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for revenue operations processes.
  • Other End-to-End Revenue Cycle Support
    • Work closely with Marketing leadership on campaign analytics and operations including performance insights, CRM support, and nurturing automation
    • Work closely with Sales leadership on data-based insights to inform Sales strategy and operations
    • Provide Sales enablement support to Account Executives and Account Managers ensuring that the team has access to the necessary tools and information to achieve New Business and Expansion goals
    • Work closely with Account Management leadership on optimizing billing and payment collection operations
    • Designing and executing new ways of working for Revenue Operations needs that emerge as we scale the business

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • You bring 3-5 years of experience in a sales operations, marketing operations, or revenue operations role to the table.
  • You’ve got strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • You’re strongly familiar with HubSpot and other marketing and sales automation tools
  • You have Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with BI tools
  • You possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You’ve got executive presence, with the ability to influence leaders and challenge existing approaches when needed
  • You’re a strong communicator and collaborator with a thought partnership mindset for working with internal stakeholders
  • You have a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment; previous start up experience preferred

Preferred skills:

  • Previous experience in Sales or familiarity with Sales strategy a bonus but not required
  • Experience with forecasting and financial modeling
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and metrics
