Position Details (What will you be doing?)
In this role, you will report to the Head of Legal, and your mission will be to protect the business by identifying, mitigating, and eliminating patterns of fraud. You will have wide latitude to investigate and make recommendations to the business on how to combat observed patterns of shrink or losses. You will be a key stakeholder in developing data and reporting systems for the business to make informed decisions on shrink mitigation and any sources of potential loss. The successful candidate will be an experienced investigator who can analyze data patterns and work cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders to solve problems.
The specific skills sought for this position are:
· Ability to own the Loss Prevention function, managing personnel, and providing data-driven analysis to management and internal stakeholders.
· Can independently conduct investigations and provide feedback that is actionable.
· Works as a true business partner- collaborating with Legal, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, and other departments to understand underlying business processes.
· Provides sound guidance to business stakeholders to help proactively address identified areas of shrink or fraud concerns.
· Ability to develop relationships and points of contact with wireless carriers, retail partners, and external Asset Protection teams.
· Conducts and manages both internal and external investigations from conception to completion.
· Can provide policy guidance and support for physical security at the company’s facilities.
Education & Experience (What education and experience will you need to be successful?)
· Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, forensic accounting, information security, or related field.
· At least seven years of experience conducting investigations and managing a loss prevention or similar program.
· Strong working knowledge of proper investigative methods, management of investigative services, and physical security issues strongly preferred.
· Experience working in the wireless industry or financial services a plus.

· Ability to learn the business quickly- positioning yourself to provide relevant guidance and find the root cause of suspected areas of loss.
· Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Expected to be responsive and provide timely updates to business colleagues as appropriate.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an ever-changing environment.
Business Travel (How much will you travel?)
· < 10%. We only anticipate occasional travel for this role.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $132,000-180,000
