Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Direct Procurement, Vendor Management will lead and drive strategic procurement initiatives supporting ecoATM Kiosks Contract manufacturing and sourcing Kiosk parts, manage key stakeholders and create and manage strategic vendor relationships. This position requirs a hands-on leader with expertise in manufacturing category management, complex contract negotiations, and project management who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Primary Role Responsibilities: The primary role is split between managing our Contract Manufacturing relationships as well as developing and managing Kiosk Parts sourcing, suppliers and spend.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle Vendor management and procurement activities for Kiosk Contract Manufacturing, Kiosk parts, Special Projects, and related spend categories, ensuring the alignment of procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Generate and implement efficient contract manufacturing strategies for offshore manufacturing partners
- Draft, execute and Manage vendor relationship contracts through all stages of the agreement lifecycle
- Conduct and manage the negotiations by responsibly leveraging volume potential to lower product costs and ensure alignment with company strategies
- Understands contractual terms and conditions, and their commercial implications to the business in order to effectively manage vendor agreement(s) and relationship(s)
- Manage the creation and execution of RFI/RFPs, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those into sourcing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiency, continues improvement, and supplier optimization, while driving initiatives that support financial objectives without compromising quality or service.
- Lead complex supplier negotiations, develop strategic plans, and build strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve cost-effective, timely procurement solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including kiosk operations, machine support, remanufacturing, accounting, finance and legal to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Optimize procurement processes and drive supplier performance management by developing key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking compliance, and reporting on spend and supplier performance.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Kiosk manufacurting and kiosk parts, supporting procurement initiatives, creating purchase orders, and ensuring seamless integration of procurement activities with broader business operations.
- Monitor and resolve procurement disruptions, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services while mitigating potential risks and issues.
- Oversee large-scale procurement projects from initiation through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Apply project management best practices to coordinate resources, manage stakeholder expectations, and mitigate potential issues.
- Lead development, management and execution of project plans in partnership with COE category leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment to financial, operational, and timeline commitments.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on manufacturing, parts and material handling
- Strong project management experience (project management certification highly desirable), preferred
- Ability to operate within a fast paced organization structure.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to think critically, and offer creative solutions.
- Detail oriented and tactically focused with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Expertise in Vendor management, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High degree of emotional intelligence with capability to build trust and relationship with peers.
- Proficient at using common tools used in project management/ management consulting roles (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) or other project planning & management tools.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Power BI, etc.) is highly desirable.
Travel: International Travel up to 2-6 weeks per year
