Our Artemetrx SaaS technology is the leading tool for utilizing integrated data to advise the largest healthcare payers on drug optimization strategies.

We are looking for a contractor SQL Developer (approximately 6+ months) to develop and implement new features, solutions to our product. This role will leverage expertise in problem solving, data analysis, database development using Microsoft SQL Server based tools and languages including T-SQL & C#. This position requires a candidate willing to dive into the details and ensure high-quality development of product features and applications with the ability to understand the technical and data architecture of our organization.

This is a remote contractor role, not full-time employment. PSG is seeking an independent contractor to join our team for 6+ month duration.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate product requirements and convert to relevant database solution.
  • Responsible for all aspects of designing, creating, and maintaining databases to support product.
  • Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes.
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture.
  • Write clean, testable code using MS-SQL programming language.
  • Test and debug various procedures and applications
  • Review and refactor code.
  • Upgrade existing programs
  • Support other analysts and junior developers’ work.
  • Document development and operational procedures
  • Maintain the Business Intelligence products and solutions, including resolving production issues and responding quickly to priority problems.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years as a Developer with experience in SQL Server, Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), C#, and XML.
  • Expertise in SQL procedure optimizations.
  • or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Good problem solver, someone who looks beyond bare requirements to try and understand underlying business purpose.
  • Good communicator, able to work both independently and within a team dynamic as necessary.
  • Team player, not afraid to share ideas and opinions, but also able to stay on script and execute within a defined plan.
  • Pragmatic, get-things-done approach coupled with solid object-oriented best practices.
  • Self-motivated, enjoys programming, strong work ethic, ability to get things done without handholding or micromanagement.
  • Demonstrated experience working on a software development team, including writing design documents, code and seeing through to product implementation.

 

COMPENSATION:

The national average hourly pay for this role is $75 -$85/hour and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
