Wire Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Specific Role:
The Wire Machine Operator is a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility, responsible for operating and maintaining wire processing equipment. This position performs hands-on tasks to ensure wire production meets the needs of the assembly team while maintaining quality, organization, and safety standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Execute daily production expectations by running, reviewing, and updating wire files to support assembly team requirements.
- Ensure finished products meet established quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas free of potential hazards.
- Follow leadership direction to meet daily production priorities.
- Safely operate and monitor wire machine equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machine operator role preferred.
- Ability to read, review, and update production or machine files accurately.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a production environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Commitment to following all PPE requirements and workplace safety protocols.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.
- Always use proper PPE when required.
- Follow safety protocols when operating equipment and handling materials.

Pay Range
