Associate Sales Trainer - OnDeck (Hybrid)

About the Role:
As a Sales Trainer supporting OnDeck, one of Enova’s Small Business brands, you will deliver, build, and support training programs that build the foundational skills of our sales organization. This role focuses on facilitating onboarding, reinforcing core sales capabilities, and contributing to a high-performing and collaborative learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Sales Training & Enablement
- Facilitate new hire and new-to-role onboarding programs to ensure sales representatives are equipped with foundational product knowledge, tools, and sales processes.
- Create new training programs and enhance ongoing training for tenured Sales Reps with the objective to build and enhance core selling skills and improve performance.
- Own training for sales enablement initiatives, including training for new tools, technologies, and processes (e.g. Salesforce, Compliance, or AI features via Gemini and Claude).
- Conduct B2B partner training for OnDeck products and sales best practices.
- Prepare and organize training sessions independently with a focus on impact and results, including Instructor-led training, virtual training sessions as well as computer-based training.
Instructional Design & Content Development
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, exercises, and learning activities. These materials include printed training workbooks, virtual training decks and computer-based training using tools such as IORAD and Notebook LM.
- Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create engaging training experiences.
- Collect and incorporate cross-functional feedback to improve training content and delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with senior sales leaders (Dept. Heads), sales leaders (Team Leads), peers, and cross-functional teams to create and iterate on training initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders providing guidance and solutions to challenges.
- Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism when navigating feedback and evolving business needs.
Performance Management
- Support training programs aligned to team goals and performance expectations.
- Own and develop reporting for training participation and outcomes.
- Demonstrate proactive planning and ownership in session preparation and delivery.
- Provide thought leadership to sales training programs aimed at improving sales performance and KPIs.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track training attendance, gather feedback (through Slack as well as surveys), and engagement metrics.
- Proficiency with LMS/training analytics tools measuring training effectiveness and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting on training outcomes.
Requirements:
- +3 years of experience in sales, training, education, or related field
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams
- High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail
- Basic analytical skills with ability to interpret feedback and performance data
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced sales environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to sales or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with education, training, coaching, or facilitation
- Experience in a high-performance or quota-driven environment
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Compensation:
The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $72,000 to $110,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.Benefits & Perks:
