HVA Assessment Technical Lead (AES Certified)

Position Summary:
Candidates with current or prior federal contract experience at DHS, DOT, IRS, or DOD will be strongly preferred. PMP, Security+, and ISO familiarity a plus. Ability to support periodic onsite engagement in DC is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery, documentation review, and SME interviews for HVA assessments.
- Drive the creation of Executive Summary, Key Insights, and Risk Statements in assessment reports.
- Guide the pre-assessment planning and perform deep-dive system analysis using CISA assessment standards.
- Coordinate with Assessment Lead and Pen Test Operator to ensure alignment across findings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current CISA AES Certification as Technical Lead (TL).
- 5+ years in cybersecurity architecture, system engineering, or vulnerability assessments.
- Strong documentation and technical writing capabilities.
- Familiarity with CISA playbooks, DHS BOD 18-02, NIST 800-115.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain Public Trust or higher.
Location: Remote with ability to travel to Washington, DC as required.
