About the role
We’re looking for someone with a strong IT Engineering background, a passion for deploying new technologies and interest in helping their fellow colleagues. The role will consist of complex engineering opportunities and providing technical assistance to our users. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a startup environment, and see’s both the benefits of agility and the opportunities for creating predictable outcomes/defining standard processes. While seeing and understanding the big picture, the ideal candidate is also focused on crossing t’s and dotting i’s, new technologies or processes are not a threat, but an opportunity to learn something new!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage our fleet of Windows devices using Microsoft Intune
- Deploy and manage applications and software updates
- Develop and implement Windows OS best practices
- Develop and implement change management strategies that maximizes employee productivity and reduces downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Solve challenging technical problems and identify opportunities for automation
- Collaborate with Security teams to improve Ethos’ security posture
- Develop and document processes to improve efficiency, security and user experience
- Investigate and resolve laptop and office infrastructure issues affecting our users
- Support office infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with on-boarding new employees
- Coordinate with vendors as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-7 years managing Windows OS in a corporate environment
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft Azure and Intune
- Understanding of and practice implementing ITIL Change Management
- Experience in supporting IdPs solutions, like Okta
- Experience in supporting common office infrastructure like printers, conference rooms and wireless APs
- Ability to automate tasks by creating and updating complex scripts
- Eagerness to help others and explain technical concepts to those who are less technical
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of system security techniques is a bonus
- Prior experience with Infrastructure as-a-service is a bonus
