About Role:
As the Senior Manager of Product Analytics, you will lead a motivated, exceptional team and be the go-to partner on experimentation and insights generation for Ethos. You will uncover shifting trends in user behavior, generate powerful insights that drive product prioritization and recommendations, and optimize the effectiveness of our paid growth and acquisition efforts, playing a central role in shaping Ethos’ strategy and growth. Underpinning your work will be a collaboration with Engineering to implement well-defined taxonomies of Ethos’ product, ensuring analysis-friendly data production. Finally, you will partner closely with other leaders at Ethos to improve our capabilities around data modeling, experimentation, causal inference, and data visualization. Accompanying this broad set of responsibilities is exposure to the highest levels of leadership at the company, and a chance to work at the nexus of analytics, data science and product development at an innovative, fast growing startup.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster a data-driven culture
- Work closely with PMs to define feature goals, implement tracking, create dashboards to evaluate success, and analyze experimental results
- Lead a team of budding product analysts and provide them with career and technical coaching
- Actively build roadmap of department for analytics over multiple quarters and manage execution of roadmap through sprints,
- Proactively generate exploratory analyses and in-depth research on large data sets to help product teams uncover high-impact opportunities in the areas of risk, fraud detection, and pricing

- Be the go-to expert on product data and insights
- Use your wizardly data querying and visualization skills to answer any question in a way that provides actionable insights
- Communicate not just findings, but also your recommendations to key stakeholders and executives. Publish Newsletters, drive cadences, manage 1:1 comms.
- Use your insights to advocate for our members in everything we do
Qualifications and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, and/or data-driven product management
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Expertise with data visualization tools (Mode, Tableau, Amplitude) to convey actionable insights to product managers and business leaders
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation best practices
