About the role (What you'll be doing)

You will be the backbone of Juniper's content production while also being our eyes and ears on what's resonating online. Reporting to the Production Lead, your mission is twofold: keep our production machine running smoothly and create native, trend-aware content that connects with our audience where they are.

Your role splits between production coordination—managing schedules, briefing talent, coordinating shoots, handling assets—and content creation. You're chronically online in the best way: you know what's trending, what formats are working, and how to create content that feels native to each platform. You can spot a trending sound before it peaks and know how to adapt it for Juniper in a way that feels authentic, not forced.

At Juniper, we believe that great content comes from understanding culture and our customers deeply. Your success is defined by your ability to keep production running seamlessly while also creating thumb-stopping content that drives real performance—content that doesn't just follow trends, but uses them strategically to connect with our audience.

We'll also expect you to:

  • Coordinate Production: Support the Production Lead by managing shoot schedules, coordinating talent and crew, booking locations, tracking assets, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from pre-production through to delivery.
  • Create Native Platform Content: Shoot and edit content specifically for social platforms—TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories—that feels native and performs. You understand the formats, trends, and cultural moments that drive engagement.
  • Stay Chronically Online (In the Best Way): Keep your finger on the pulse of what's trending across social platforms. Identify trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments that Juniper can authentically participate in.
  • Spot Content Opportunities: Proactively identify moments worth capturing—whether that's behind-the-scenes from a shoot, a trending format we should try, or a spontaneous moment that will resonate with our audience.
  • Brief & Collaborate: Work with the videographer, designers, and creative team to execute shoots. Provide clear briefs, manage timelines, and ensure everyone has what they need.
  • Manage Assets & Files: Organise and archive all video and photo content. Maintain a system that makes it easy for the team to find and use assets quickly.
  • Create Platform-First Content: Understand that TikTok content is different from Instagram content is different from YouTube content. Adapt your shooting and editing style to suit the platform and what's performing there.
  • Test & Iterate: Create content quickly, post it, track performance, and iterate based on what's working. You're comfortable with a test-and-learn approach.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Performance, Social, and Editorial teams to understand what content is needed and what's driving results.

About you (Who you are)

  • Experienced Production Coordinator: 2-4 years in production coordination, content production, or similar roles. You know how to manage timelines, wrangle talent, and keep shoots running smoothly.
  • Native Content Creator: You're a digital native who creates content for social platforms regularly. You understand what works on TikTok vs Instagram vs YouTube, and you can create content that feels authentic to each platform.
  • Chronically Online: You're genuinely plugged into internet culture. You know what's trending, what sounds are taking off, what formats are working, and how to adapt them for a brand without feeling cringe.
  • Customer & Platform Intuition: You have a strong sense of what will resonate with our audience. You understand our customers and know how to create content that connects with them authentically.
  • Opportunistic & Proactive: You spot content opportunities that others miss. You're always thinking "this would make great content" and you know when to hit record.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: You can manage multiple shoots, deadlines, and assets without dropping the ball. You keep things organised and running smoothly.
  • Technically Proficient: You can shoot on your phone or with a camera, edit quickly on mobile or desktop (CapCut, Premiere, etc.), and know how to make content look good with minimal setup.
  • Fast & Scrappy: You can turn around content quickly. You don't need perfect conditions or elaborate setups—you know how to make great content with what you have.
  • Collaborative: You work well with creative teams, talent, and stakeholders. You're the glue that keeps production running and everyone informed.
  • Empathetic & Culturally Aware: You understand that Juniper operates in a sensitive category. You create content and coordinate shoots in ways that make people feel comfortable, especially around women's health topics.
  • Commercially Minded: You understand that content drives business outcomes. You track what's performing and use that to inform what you create.
  • Adaptable & Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift. You can juggle production coordination while also creating content without burning out.
  • Passionate About the Mission: You genuinely care about women's health and want to create content that supports and empowers women through their health journeys.
  • Portfolio that Proves It: Your work demonstrates that you can create engaging, platform-native content that drives performance, and you have experience coordinating production successfully.
