Summary 

The Dairy Marketing Intern will support the marketing team by contributing to strategic planning, content creation, social media management, event coordination, and data analytics. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and analytics within the dairy industry while learning to balance creative efforts with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about dairy products, interested in developing their marketing skills, and eager to collaborate on a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and target audience.

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.

    • Support the team in crafting strategic marketing plans that enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.

  • Content Writing:

    • Write and edit engaging, brand-consistent content for various platforms, including blogs, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.

    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure written content aligns with visual content.

  • Social Media Creation:

    • Manage and create content for the company’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to boost engagement and brand awareness.

    • Schedule and publish posts, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on audience feedback.

    • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a positive online community.

  • Event Planning:

    • Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, both in-person and virtual, to increase brand awareness and connect with consumers.

    • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, event promotion, and post-event follow-up.

    • Support partnerships with vendors, influencers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.

  • Analytics and Data Science:

    • Collect, analyze, and report on marketing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Use tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to track campaign performance and suggest data-driven adjustments.

    • Collaborate with the team to leverage data for forecasting, reporting, and optimizing marketing strategies.

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data interpretation, with a working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel) to derive insights from marketing data.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

 

About You (Qualifications): 

  • CURRENTLY pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Agriculture, or a related field with a passion for the dairy/agriculture industry.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO).

  • Basic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, with a creative mindset for generating marketing ideas.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and tools.
