 Senior Sales Manager, Physician Channel

Face Reality is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Sales Manager to lead our growth within the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery sectors. This candidate will utilize and leverage existing experience and physician relationships within this channel, prospect for new business and focus on building strategic relationships with key skincare professionals, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medical spa operators to expand Face Reality’s presence and drive revenue growth in the Medical/Physician Channel. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of this market, a proactive sales approach, and a “closer” mentality to identify and capitalize on new opportunities. This role provides the opportunity to eventually recruit, build and lead a team from the ground up, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of developing sales plans, exceeding sales targets, and driving significant revenue growth in the physician dispensed channel. The position will start as an individual contributor and over time be responsible for hiring a team of sales professionals to support the growth of this channel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales plans, strategies and incentive plans

Key Account Engagement & Growth:

  • Travel and attend strategic meetings, engage with current and prospective clients, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spa managers, estheticians, and support staff, to build strong, long-term relationships that drive business results

Account Development & Expansion:

  • Prospect and open new accounts, identifying opportunities to grow Face Reality’s footprint in existing accounts. Focus particularly on National Accounts and multi-location physician offices, chains, and medical spas

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop key sales reports.  Analyze sales data, market trends, and client needs to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for increased revenue. Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals

 

Product Education & Training:

  • Conduct in-field and virtual product trainings, focusing on new product launches, advanced skincare treatment protocols, and product usage to ensure clients are equipped to deliver optimal results with Face Reality products

Client Support & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the brand liaison for accounts, providing ongoing education, sales support, and problem-solving assistance. Regularly visit accounts to monitor product usage, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Promotions & Incentive Programs:

  • Drive sales through special promotions, incentive programs, and strategic events. Ensure a strong return on investment (ROI) by aligning promotional efforts with business goals and client needs

Customer Retention & Reactivation:

  • Re-engage inactive or underperforming accounts, identifying barriers to continued purchasing and taking corrective action to bring them back into the fold

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Face Reality’s leadership team, marketing department, and customer success teams to align on business priorities, account strategies, and promotional efforts

Tradeshow & Industry Event Participation:

  • Represent Face Reality at key industry trade shows, conferences, and events, networking with potential clients, showcasing products, and contributing to the brand’s presence in the marketplace.
  • Engagement and collaboration with KOL’s

Build a Team:

  • Recruit sales representatives, develop and implement a plan for building a team from inception, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Sales Management:

  • Lead, coach and a manage sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Set clear expectations, provide consistent direction to sales team. Collaborate with direct reports/sales representatives to identify and target Key Account opportunities

Leadership & Coaching:

  • Coach, lead, and develop sales team members through 1:1s, performance observation, and constructive feedback. Drive strategic initiatives that contribute to overall company growth in the medical aesthetics/ dermatology sector

 

Qualifications

 Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Esthetician license, Nurse, or strong medical background (preferred)

 Experience:

  • 5-10 years sales / business development experience in physician-dispensed skincare channel
  • Strong existing relationships in the aesthetic space
  • Solid understanding of medical/dermatology, plastic surgery practices, and medical spas
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with a focus on long-term relationship-building and driving measurable results
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales team and territory effectively, including scheduling and prioritizing account visits
  • Experience with product education, client training, and delivering results-driven presentations
  • Willingness to travel as required, including some weekends and evenings
  • Sales management experience with proven track record
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching, training, and developing sales teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ proven track record of success in medical aesthetic sales and business development, preferably selling to dermatologists and medical spas
  • Customer first mindset
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled presenter, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, timely and businesslike manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver’s license (not a high-risk driver) and reliable car
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities and territory management experience
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Manage expenses within fiscal guidelines and policies
  • Forecasting experience and business analysis skills
  • Ability to fulfill heavy domestic travel requirement, mostly driving within geographic territory (approx. 75% of the work week), as well as sporadic air travel to industry tradeshows or company meetings/trainings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
  • Comfortable using a computer, keyboard, and mouse

Salary: Base salary is $120-$130k with a commission that can pay up to 25% paid quarterly. This position also comes with a full benefits package
