Merchandising Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to support our merchandising team with a strong focus on data entry and management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and familiar with product lifecycle management systems, particularly Centric PLM. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of product information across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and maintain product data in Centric PLM and other internal systems.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, design, and production teams to ensure product details are correct and up to date.
  • Assist in the creation and management of purchase orders, product codes, and SKU information.
  • Track and monitor the status of samples, prototypes, and approvals throughout the development process.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for merchandising meetings.
  • Help manage communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and accurate data.
  • Perform regular audits of data to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Assist in maintaining product line sheets, seasonal overviews, and other merchandising tools.
  • Provide general administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or related field, preferably in the apparel industry.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and management.
  • Experience with Centric PLM or similar product lifecycle management software is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle in apparel.
  • Understanding of merchandising and buying processes.

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).

Compensation Range

$24 - $27 USD
