About the Team

Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.

 

Position Summary:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes that increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new processes, improving existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on problem-solving, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams across production, quality, and maintenance.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the 5S Program and Support the Lean Implementation.
  2. Develop projects that solve opportunities shown on KPI with methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to develop and implement strategies for process optimization and waste reduction.
  3. Share best practices, Lean tools, and techniques with team members and other departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Conduct process analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to reduce waste and increase throughput.
  5. Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  6. Prepare and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and safety regulations.
  9. Train production and maintenance staff on new processes, procedures, and equipment.
  10. Support capital projects involving equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field.
  2. 3-5 years of work experience in manufacturing
  3. 2 years at least of production supervisor or Industrial Engineering
  4. Global 8D Problem-Solving Methodology
  5. Continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. 
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present ideas to a diverse audience from hourly workforce to executive leadership.
  7. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, to develop and interpret KPIs and performance metrics.
  8. Demonstrated ability to lead teams & manage cross-functional projects.
  9. Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  1. Assist with special projects or initiatives that may arise, which could include process audits, performance reviews, or strategic planning activities. Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a variety of tasks as needed.
  2. Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed to address specific challenges or opportunities related to continuous improvement. Be prepared to step in and contribute to initiatives beyond the primary scope of responsibilities.
  3. Collect feedback from stakeholders and team members on improvement initiatives and processes. Use this feedback to refine and enhance strategies and approaches for better outcomes. 
  4. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to continuous improvement. Proactively propose and pilot new tools, techniques, or methodologies that could benefit the organization.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to respond to urgent issues or changes in project scope, which may involve adapting to varying work conditions or unexpected challenges.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management or other relevant field.
  2. 3-5 years of work experience in manufacturing
  3. 2 years at least of production supervisor or Industrial Engineering
  4. Continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is highly desirable.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present ideas to a diverse audience from hourly workforce to executive leadership.
  6. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, to develop and interpret KPIs and performance metrics.
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead teams & manage cross-functional projects.
  8. Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  9. Desire ability to speak Spanish

 

Environment and Scheduling

  • Work is performed in an administrative 50% office and 50% production floor setting.
  • Must be flexible and available to work additional hours and work days when necessary.
  • Ability to stay focused during long shifts and high-pressure situations.
