As we continue to scale our global platform, the Facilities Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of Fulfillment and Manufacturing Centers.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Facilities Lead is critical to the smooth operation of our Fulfillment and Manufacturing Centers, responsible for ensuring the proper function and upkeep of facility systems, automation and manufacturing equipment, material handling assets, housekeeping, and grounds. Reporting to the Facilities Manager and Supervisor, this role serves as a strategic partner to the Operations Team — performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to maximize site performance and safety. The Facilities Lead delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)
- Attend daily production meetings as needed, acting as a key liaison between the Facilities and Operations teams to surface and resolve maintenance-related opportunities.
- Support and mentor Facility Technicians in diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical problems, building team capability through hands-on guidance and knowledge transfer.
- Communicate issues effectively to team members and the operational team, ensuring transparency and swift resolution across functions.
Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
- Ensure the uninterrupted operation of Fulfillment and Manufacturing Center assets so that fan orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Maintain facility and equipment standards that support a safe, efficient environment enabling the operations team to deliver a best-in-class fan experience.
- Uphold grounds and building integrity to sustain a productive, professional facility that reflects the Fanatics standard of excellence.
- Execute work orders and repairs in accordance with company procedures, directly protecting the site's ability to meet fan demand at scale.
Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
- Learn and utilize applicable software platforms including CMMS systems and graphical interfaces to modernize and streamline maintenance workflows.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting on Motor Control problems involving Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and External I/O Devices.
- Leverage technical drawings — including blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics — alongside diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and laptops to solve complex equipment challenges.
- Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities in preventive maintenance practices across conveyor, manufacturing, and building equipment.
Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
- Ensure completion of work orders, repairs, preventive maintenance, and records retention in strict accordance with company procedures, standards, and safety requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyor equipment, manufacturing equipment, grounds, building systems, and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
- Work independently and with minimal supervision, including in non-climate-controlled environments and at heights using ladders and aerial lifts, while safely lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere to all department and company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements, and complete additional tasks as requested by site leadership.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or education in Material Handling Equipment (conveyors and sortation equipment), manufacturing, mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or installation.
- Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills with demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures.
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting proficiency and working knowledge of NEC compliance requirements.
- Advanced Motor Controls troubleshooting, including PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and External I/O Devices.
- Advanced fabrication skillset with the ability to support repairs and modifications across a range of facility assets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn and utilize CMMS systems and other applicable software platforms.
- Ability to work independently, follow oral and written instructions, and communicate clearly with both technical and operational team members.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
