Director, Communication Channel and Content Promotion

Your Role:  

As the Director of communication channel and content promotion, you will lead the strategy and execution of communication channel development, media relationship, content production, and content promotion. This role requires a very good media relationship, bilingual copywriting skill, and marcom planning capability that enhances brand storytelling and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Communication Channel Strategy & Development

  • Design and implement communication strategies that expand FF’s reach across traditional and digital media, including top-tier U.S. and China outlets, social platforms, and industry influencers (KOLs).
  • Identify and cultivate emerging communication platforms and thought-leadership opportunities to increase brand visibility and sentiment.

Media Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with global media partners—especially key U.S. outlets—to effectively promote FF and FX’s brand, mission, and milestones.
  • Proactively pitch stories, respond to media inquiries, and position FF executives and initiatives favorably through high-impact press coverage.

Content Creation & Promotion

  • Lead the development of high-quality, bilingual content that tells compelling stories aligned with FF’s brand identity, across formats such as articles, videos, social content, executive messaging, and digital campaigns.
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end content lifecycle, from planning to publishing to performance analysis.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with sales, after-sales, co-creation, community, and CRM teams to produce content that enhances customer experience—from product education and FAQs to co-creation engagement and loyalty programs.
  • Collaborate with Events, Product, and Partnership teams to craft narratives for launches and activations.
  • Support internal functions such as HR, Corporate Communications, and CEO Office in executive communications, employee engagement, and organizational storytelling.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in content planning, development, and production, ideally within a global or high-growth organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong, established media relationships, particularly within U.S. and China markets.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in content creation and communications operations across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a deep understanding of audience engagement strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and mentoring high-performing marcom teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in content production workflows, including writing, editing, and creative collaboration.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, with strong writing capabilities in both languages.

 Annual Salary Range:

(160K - 210K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
