The Role
In this role, you will be working directly with Focus Financial Advisors, a team operating under the Farther umbrella. You'll support Focus Financial’s day-to-day operations and client experience while benefiting from Farther's resources, technology platform, and professional growth opportunities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established wealth management practice while being part of an innovative, growing organization.
This position is responsible for the daily office functions at Focus Financial, ensuring seamless client service, communication, and office administrative support. You’ll be the face of the office, providing crucial support for our advisors and clients. The ideal candidate is a people person, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
This full-time position requires on-site presence at our Rockford, IL office 5 days per week.
Your Impact

Provide exceptional client service, demonstrating a strong desire to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Manage office operations, including opening and closing the office, answering phones, and handling mail.

Schedule client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and maintain the office calendar.

Support financial operations by assisting with vendor payments, processing client billing, and navigating custodian websites (Schwab, Fidelity, and Farther portal).
- Maintain client data, update CRM, and enter tasks in the Farther portal (e.g., money movements, account openings).

Contribute to client satisfaction by managing communications and coordinating client appreciation initiatives.

Maintain the office environment by ordering supplies, organizing client information, and preparing mailings.
The Ideal Match

Proven experience in customer service, office administration, or a related field.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and the ability to learn new applications.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow up on tasks to ensure completion.

A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points

Prior experience in the financial services industry.

Familiarity with CRM software and custodian websites.

Associate’s degree or higher.
