The Role
The Farther Asset Management vertical (FAM) is growing rapidly, focusing on private wealth solutions. Our team of investment strategy experts delivers comprehensive solutions that maximize client returns while boosting advisor productivity. We leverage quantitative modeling to build tax-optimized SMAs, dynamic model portfolios, and return enhancement layers that deliver measurable value.
FAM is seeking a results-oriented, hands-on leader to drive AUM growth across both new and existing advisor relationships. We’re looking for a true owner who thrives in a fast-paced, startup or startup-like environment, embraces evolving responsibilities, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty to move the business forward. Success in this role means expanding wallet share within Farther, elevating FAM’s positioning, and enabling advisors to confidently adopt and advocate for FAM’s investment solutions.
Your Impact
- Drive AUM Growth & Pipeline Management - Lead strategies to maximize asset conversion and adoption while tracking opportunities to support forecasting and inform product prioritization.
- Represent FAM at Critical Touchpoints - Communicate FAM's value proposition during Discovery Days, advisor onboardings, and prospect meetings while building strong advisor relationships.
- Expand Advisor Adoption - Implement strategic outreach programs and engagement tactics that increase FAM wallet share and deepen product adoption among current advisors.
- Own Education & Enablement - Develop comprehensive training and collateral across various touchpoints to increase product familiarity and support advisor success.
- Create & Manage Sales Materials - Develop pitch decks, learning modules, and marketing collateral while partnering with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging.
- Drive Market Positioning & Innovation - Own FAM's value proposition, optimize content based on adoption data, and stay ahead of market trends to ensure offerings remain competitive and relevant.
The Ideal Match
- 10+ years of experience in asset or wealth management sales, distribution, or business development.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and “rolling up sleeves” in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience working across product, marketing, and operations.
- Data-driven approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and drive advisor engagement.
- Deep knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the advisor distribution landscape.
Bonus Points
- CFP or advanced degree.
- Experience with launching new products and/or rapidly scaling sales and distribution efforts.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth fintech environment.
