iOS App Developer

Washington, District of Columbia, United States

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced iOS developer to build mobile capabilities for our internal AI platform. You'll own native iOS development, working closely with our backend engineering team to deliver high-quality mobile experiences for our consultant users across the firm.

This is a hands-on technical role with significant autonomy. You'll be responsible for the entire iOS codebase, from architecture decisions to implementation to enterprise deployment. We're not building prototypes—we're scaling proven capabilities that consultants rely on daily for high-stakes client work.

What You'll Build

You'll develop mobile-first features that extend our AI platform beyond the desktop, bringing intelligent assistance to consultants wherever they work. The specific roadmap will evolve based on user needs, but expect to work on:

  • Native iOS experiences optimized for mobile contexts and on-the-go usage
  • Audio and voice interface components that leverage iOS platform capabilities
  • Real-time communication and media processing features
  • Seamless integration with our backend AI agent systems

Our data infrastructure processes millions of media articles, social posts, and stakeholder signals daily. Our agents don't just answer questions—they generate press releases, analyze media coverage, and provide strategic recommendations. Your mobile work will make these capabilities accessible in new contexts where desktop access isn't practical.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement native iOS applications using Swift for internal enterprise deployment
  • Build features leveraging iOS frameworks for audio, media, and real-time communication
  • Integrate with backend APIs and services built by our platform engineering team
  • Own iOS app architecture, performance optimization, and code quality
  • Manage enterprise app distribution and deployment workflows
  • Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and integration patterns
  • Ensure security and compliance requirements for enterprise mobile applications
  • Balance feature development with technical excellence—building for the long term while shipping quickly

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift
  • Strong expertise in iOS frameworks, particularly AVFoundation and related audio/media APIs
  • Experience building and deploying enterprise iOS applications
  • Solid understanding of iOS app architecture, performance optimization, and memory management
  • Experience integrating mobile apps with REST APIs and real-time protocols
  • Familiarity with enterprise app distribution (Apple Business Manager, MDM, TestFlight)
  • Ability to work independently and make architectural decisions
  • Track record of shipping high-quality iOS apps to production

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Core ML or on-device machine learning
  • Background in real-time audio/video applications or communication tools
  • Experience with WebRTC or streaming protocols
  • Interest in voice interfaces and conversational UI design
  • Experience with enterprise security and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js ecosystems
  • Background working in fast-paced startup or innovation lab environments

What We Offer

  • Ownership of iOS development for a production AI platform used across the firm
  • Autonomy to make technical decisions and shape mobile architecture from the ground up
  • Work on real technical challenges that directly impact how consultants work
  • Collaborative environment with talented engineers, data scientists, and AI researchers
  • Opportunity to learn how AI agent systems work in enterprise environments
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Remote-friendly culture with flexibility

Why This Role Matters

You'll be building the foundation for how professionals interact with AI on mobile devices. This isn't a side project—it's a strategic expansion of capabilities that consultants already depend on. Your work will enable AI assistance in contexts where it matters most: when consultants are on the go, in meetings, or need hands-free access to intelligent support.

We're scaling proven technology, not experimenting. The platform you'll extend is already delivering value daily. Your mobile work will make that value accessible in entirely new ways.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
