Senior Partnerships Manager

New York, San Francisco, or Denver

About the Company

There are 17 million Americans who own rental property. Most don't want to be landlords anymore, but selling isn’t a good option. Why? You’d lose income and appreciation, trigger tax liabilities, kick out your tenants, have to fix up the house – the list goes on! Flock is here to help.

Flock is building the retirement solution for landlords. We’ve created the first tech-driven 721 Exchange to help individual rental property owners seamlessly convert their real estate into passively owned shares in a professionally managed portfolio of homes. Some people call it the UPREIT; we call it "The People’s REIT."

In a traditional property sale, the transaction ends the buyer/seller relationship – not so with Flock. When owners contribute their real estate to Flock’s portfolio, a new journey begins: one that has been carefully crafted to both relieve their pain points and provide tangible benefits for years to come. It’s a better way to sell and a better way to own real estate.

We’re fortunate to be backed by a great group of venture capital firms, including Andreessen Horowitz, Human Capital, Susa Ventures, Box Group, and Primary Venture Partners, as well as a large network of strategic investors, including 1Sharpe Ventures, Redwood Trust (NYSE: RWT), Fred Tuomi (former CEO of Invitation Homes), and Eric Wu (former CEO of Opendoor).

About the Role

Flock is seeking a scrappy and relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Manager to build and scale our channel partnerships motion. This role is ideal for someone who loves getting in the trenches—sourcing leads, hitting the road, and building win-win partnerships that drive top-of-funnel growth. You’ll be the first dedicated hire focused on partnerships, and a key player in building the foundation for a high-impact channel strategy.

The ideal candidate brings hustle, structure, and a knack for connecting with partners who already serve our core customer: small, independent landlords. You’ve worked in BD, channel sales, or partnerships at a high-growth startup, and you're ready to take what you’ve learned and make it your own.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Channel Growth: Source and activate partnerships with companies that have existing relationships with landlords—think proptech, fintech, and landlord-focused platforms.
  • Own Outbound: Be proactive and persistent. You’ll cold call, travel, and attend events to find and close high-quality partner leads.
  • Build Repeatable Systems: Create a scalable, metrics-driven playbook for how we identify, close, and grow partnerships.
  • Collaborate Across GTM: Work closely with sales and marketing to align on messaging, lead quality, and partner handoffs.
  • Be a Face of Flock: Represent Flock at industry events and conferences. Build strong relationships and trust with partners that translate into meaningful lead flow.
  • Make It Better: Bring feedback from partners to inform our go-to-market strategy, messaging, and activation efforts.

About You

  • Partnerships or Channel Sales Pro: 3–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales—bonus points if it's in proptech or fintech
  • Outbound Hustler: You’re energized by building your own pipeline, reaching out cold, and figuring out how to get in the door.
  • Builder Mentality: You bring structure to chaos—comfortable building systems from scratch and iterating in real-time.
  • Excellent Communicator: Clear, confident, and persuasive. You know how to tailor your pitch and build long-term partner trust.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You don’t let follow-ups slip. You keep CRM clean and teams in sync.
  • Startup-Mentality: You want to own something. You’re energized by ambiguity, fast pace, and the opportunity to have a major impact.

Location: NYC, SF, or Denver

Compensation: The annual OTE for this role is $150K-$180K, with target equity and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
