The Job
Legal and Compliance are partners across the whole business here at Flo. They watch over everything: Flo’s privacy programme, compliance with regulatory obligations, contract management, IP enforcement… you name it.
The team’s divided into three groups - Privacy & Data Protection, Regulatory & Compliance, and Legal Services, each managing its own area.
Flo’s Legal team is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our legal team of four, spread across Lithuania and the UK, and working globally for a fast-paced, scaling tech unicorn.
We’re looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a busy environment and who’d be capable of taking on a variety of operational and administrative responsibilities for the group.
You’d be providing essential support to our legal department, handling a mix of administrative and paralegal duties, including reviewing minor contracts, assisting with vendor onboarding, and overseeing legal contracting processes. We’d love to hire someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a willingness to learn in a busy tech environment.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Legal degree and/or significant experience (usually 2-3 years’) in a Legal Assistant or similar position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English language skills to a fluent level (CEFR C2 standard).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in the Google Workspace.
- Proven ability to work independently as a proactive force for change and as part of a team in a supportive capacity.
- Willingness to get involved with a variety of tasks and projects and learn new areas.
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- Experience reviewing and drafting basic legal documents, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
- Experience working on vendor onboarding processes.
- Familiarity with contract management software (such as Gatekeeper).
- Experience in wider legal and organisational tooling (JIRA, OneTrust etc.)
- Knowledge of legal databases and research tools.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Formal paralegal certification or degree.
- Experience within the tech and/or health industry.
- Experience working for an international business.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible to:
- Support Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsels with review, drafting, and management of simple legal contracts & documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), amendment letters etc.
- Adapt and update template agreements.
- Manage and streamline the administrative aspects of legal contracting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with vendor onboarding processes, including document verification and compliance checks.
- Maintain and organise legal files and documents.
- Assistance with contract storage and review for key terms
- Coordinate deadlines, managing timelines and maintaining operational SLAs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and legal counsel.
- Assist with legal research and document preparation as needed.
- Support the legal team with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Assist with the implementation and improvement of legal department processes and procedures.
- Take ownership of administrative tasks, and improve the efficiency of them.

Salary Range - gross per month
€2.000 - €2.900 EUR
