Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

This position is located in Bogota, Colombia. You will be working remotely, alongside other FLYR crew in the area and spending most of your time at our client offices.

As a Principal Product Manager within our Digital Customer Experience division, you will play a pivotal role with a high-profile, tier-one client, spearheading the strategy, evolution, and comprehensive management of our product offerings. You will be the voice for the customer's perspective and industry insights, collaborating with specialist product owners and our technical team to craft cutting-edge digital experiences for the airline sector. Together, you will ship highly visible enhancements used by millions of travelers.

This role demands a dynamic approach, you should be equally as comfortable with writing detailed requirements as you are engaging with top-tier executives. Ideal candidates might have a background in the airline sector, focusing on digital customer engagement, or possess the visionary capacity to propel the sector forward with innovative concepts from outside the industry.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

The main task that you will do in this role will be:

  • Strategically steer and oversee the product vision and execution for a high-value, multi-brand client relationship.
  • Elevate our product trajectory by pinpointing market shifts, conducting competitive assessments, and integrating insights from beyond our sector.
  • Devise and implement data-driven strategies to augment conversion rates and enrich the overall experience for airline passengers utilizing our platform.
  • Manage daily interactions with stakeholders and refine the product backlog, while also navigating high-level discussions with executive stakeholders.
  • Guide marketing, design, and related teams to forge a seamless and outstanding user journey, employing your extensive influence and expertise to refine the overarching UX strategy and contribute to the evolution of design systems and best practices.
  • Act as the crucial liaison between technical teams and business partners, adeptly converting business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to engage in intricate technical discussions in both languages.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or related fields, with a solid foundation in enterprise-level software, particularly in airlines or e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated experience with high-stakes enterprise software projects.
  • While not required to be an engineer or UX designer, a fullstack understanding of essential technologies from databases to APIs and UX design is expected.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing demands.
  • Proficient in crafting roadmaps and executing projects with teams that follow agile development practices.
  • Autonomous initiative-taker with a history of launching new projects and resolving complex issues through detailed analysis and action.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration across functions through power of influence and authority of experience.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues for diverse groups.
