Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We're looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team to help drive one of the largest and most unique airline transformation efforts the industry has ever seen.

You are a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Business Analyst comfortable working directly with FLYR's airline customers. You know how to map business requirements and coordinate efforts with external and internal stakeholders.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Working closely with Release Manager to ensure a smooth transition from QA to UAT testing 
  • Customer onsite support during UAT phase, providing regular training and upskill sessions to educate UAT testers on the system capabilities
  • Support testing activities, including test case development, execution, and defect management.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather and analyze business requirements and ensure a value delivery addresses business needs
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement. Map existing processes to our product capabilities.
  • Help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers and technical teams.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirement documents, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit requirements and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Ready to travel 25% of the time to clients

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the airline or travel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with airline industry systems such as Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Passenger Service Systems (PSS), Departure Control Systems (DCS), or Revenue Management Systems (RMS) are a plus.
