
Wealth Technology Salesforce Intern
Program Dates: June 9 – August 14, 2026 (10 weeks)
Position Summary
The 10-week paid internship program is an opportunity to help drive technological innovation and operational excellence within our rapidly expanding wealth management firm. As a key contributor to Focus Financial Partners’ (FFP) strategic initiatives, you'll collaborate closely with our CRM technology team to align cross-functional stakeholders and execute complex change initiatives that generate organization-wide efficiencies and scale benefits. This role offers unparalleled exposure to a diverse technology platform comprised of industry leaders in financial services. You will develop a multi-faceted skill set as you learn from experts in finance, technology, M&A, cybersecurity, and management consulting.
The Salesforce Intern will serve as a technical support resource to facilitate the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce landscape solutions across the organization. Reporting to the Head of CRM, this role will support business needs and technical designs.
Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 days per week, or as assigned by their team leader.
Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance may be considered early for a full-time position following graduation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support Salesforce platform configuration and analysis, including objects, fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards, while learning Salesforce platform fundamentals and best practices
- Assist users with common requests such as data cleanup, updates, data loading and support ongoing data hygiene initiatives
- Prepare and validate data files for import and perform post load validations and reconciliation
- Assist in documenting Salesforce system workflows, data models, and integrations with other enterprise systems
- Participate in testing and validation of Salesforce enhancements, automations, and integrations across sandbox and non-production environments
- Document recurring user issues and resolutions
- Assist in developing training materials and quick-reference guides to support Salesforce user adoption
- Contribute to process improvement suggestions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, program management and development teams to support project delivery and technical specifications
- Capture technical and business takeaways from meetings and assist in tracking action items to ensure alignment across stakeholders
Qualifications
- Current students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and Spring 2027
- Successfully complete assessments within 5 days of receiving the link
- Ability to work and commute out of FFP’s St. Louis, MO office; relocation assistance is not provided
- Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- High level understanding of data modeling and security models
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Demonstrated track record of academic success and/or professional pursuits
- Excellent communication and technical skills
- High degree of personal and professional maturity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Intellectual curiosity and confidence to take initiative
- Exceptional work ethic and a deep sense of accountability

This position is a non-exempt position. The base pay for this role is expected to be $22/hr. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate’s experience and education.
