What you’ll do

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to start their career in business development.  You'll support a friendly and collaborative Business Development team who ultimately support the firm's business development activities aimed at identifying, targeting, and capturing new business opportunities.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Be a part of the Client Development team who work together to identify and win new business as well as delivering to our existing clients.
  • Support Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Executives (BDEs) with their business development activities and client and campaign development.
  • External and internal communications – support the BD team in generating content to share through our internal and external communications channels.
  • Company/sector research requests – assist the team in collating company-related research to support planning and drive sector strategies and individual sales opportunities.
  • Events – offer ad hoc industry event support to the team.
  • CRM – support the CRM Manager to make sure marketing lists are updated etc.
  • Offer varied administrative support throughout the team.

What we’re looking for

This will be a varied and exciting role working with and learning from a friendly and talented BD team to help support our business development activities. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and brings:

    • Previous admin experience working in a business environment.
    • An interest in starting a career in business development with a passion for learning.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
    • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail (for proof reading).
    • Good stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to changing priorities.
    • Confident PowerPoint, Word, and Excel capabilities.
    • A shared passion for innovation, collaboration, and achieving great things together.
