What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll:
- Support the Senior Legal Operations Manager in delivering a programme of continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage key projects, including the implementation of new case management systems, to enhance efficiency, quality and client service delivery.
- Provide day-to-day oversight of team operations, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and in line with agreed SLAs.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and manage client expectations across relevant work types.
- Deliver operational and KPI reporting to support decision making and performance measurement.
- Drive efficient and innovation by challenging existing MLS strategy and exploring alternative methods of delivery.
- Supervise, mentor and recruit junior team members.
- Oversee onboarding of new work stream into MLS, including training, risk assessment and system development.
- Produce and present management reports, identifying lessons learned and supporting continuous improvement.
- Act as 'product owner' for key tasks or processes within MLS.

- Experience in operational/project management or business analysis (legal or professional support desirable).
- Strong business knowledge and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions.
- Proficiency in change management and embedding efficiency in working practices.
- Confidence with technology-based systems to drive improvements.
- Demonstrable people management skills and leadership experience.
- Resilience, along with being adaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
