What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll: Take on a position suited to individuals with legal PA or secretarial experience who are ready to take ownership of case progression and provide high-quality support in a dynamic legal environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Charities and Private Wealth Disputes Group as a valued team member.
- Providing comprehensive PA / secretarial support to fee earners in a client-focused setting.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and managing diaries to ensure fee earners are well-prepared.
- Handling matter setup while ensuring compliance with internal risk procedures.
- Drafting, amending, and maintaining precedent letters and house-style documents.
- Communicating professionally with clients and stakeholders on behalf of fee earners.
- Occasionally travelling to the Bristol office (travel expenses covered).
- Having the opportunity to develop into a supervisory role within the group.

What we’re looking for
- Experience as a Legal PA, Legal Support Assistant, or Legal Secretary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and a professional, solutions-focused approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal systems.
- Interest or experience in Charities, Private Wealth work is a plus, but not essential.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for innovation and shared success.
- The role is primarily office-based. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Exeter are encouraged to apply.
