  • Why this role matters: This position plays a vital role in supporting the Charities and Private Wealth Disputes Group by providing essential administrative and organisational support that contributes directly to the group’s success.

 What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll: Take on a position suited to individuals with legal PA or secretarial experience who are ready to take ownership of case progression and provide high-quality support in a dynamic legal environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Charities and Private Wealth Disputes Group as a valued team member.
  • Providing comprehensive PA / secretarial support to fee earners in a client-focused setting.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and managing diaries to ensure fee earners are well-prepared.
  • Handling matter setup while ensuring compliance with internal risk procedures.
  • Drafting, amending, and maintaining precedent letters and house-style documents.
  • Communicating professionally with clients and stakeholders on behalf of fee earners.
  • Occasionally travelling to the Bristol office (travel expenses covered).
  • Having the opportunity to develop into a supervisory role within the group.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience as a Legal PA, Legal Support Assistant, or Legal Secretary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and a professional, solutions-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal systems.
  • Interest or experience in Charities, Private Wealth work is a plus, but not essential.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for innovation and shared success.
  • The role is primarily office-based. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Exeter are encouraged to apply.
