About the role
The Salesforce Developer role is focused on designing, developing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions that help business and technology teams deliver reliable platform functionality.
This role supports Salesforce development, solution design, documentation, integration analysis, and full SDLC delivery in a hybrid Connecticut-based environment.
As Salesforce Developer, you will work across Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, configuration, SOQL, object-oriented development, design patterns, and related web technologies to support business requirements through implementation.
This role requires active and valid Salesforce certifications, with a minimum of Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.

What You'll Work On
As Salesforce Developer, you will:
• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning pages, Visualforce pages, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration.
• Drive work from requirements through implementation with strong ownership, organization, and follow-through.
• Apply object-oriented programming, CRUD concepts, Salesforce design patterns, and advanced Salesforce development practices.
• Provide analysis and requirements support for application integrations.
• Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and support.
• Create and maintain required technical documentation to support development, implementation, and ongoing platform needs.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
• Share experience and technical judgment with the team to help plan, execute, and accomplish project goals.
• Mentor less experienced team members and support strong development practices across the team.
• Use creativity, problem-solving, and sound judgment to support complex Salesforce development and integration needs.

What You'll Bring
You will likely be successful in this role if you have:
• Active and valid Salesforce certifications, with a minimum of Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• 10+ years of professional technology experience, including 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Advanced Salesforce development experience, including Apex, object-oriented programming, SOQL, configuration, CRUD, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Lightning pages and Visualforce pages.
• Experience with full-stack development concepts, end-to-end web development, and application integration requirements.
• Experience working across all phases of the SDLC and creating technical documentation.
• Experience with .NET object-oriented programming and service-oriented architecture.
• SQL experience.
• JavaScript framework experience preferred.
• Strong abstract thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and proactively drive work forward.

• Additional Salesforce certifications beyond Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience supporting public sector, state government, or regulated client environments.
• Experience mentoring developers or guiding technical delivery across complex Salesforce projects.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, enterprise architecture patterns, and service-oriented architecture.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency. The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity. 

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentive programs, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, etc. 

Estimated Compensation Range:

$45 - $50 USD
