Regional Director of Sales, SEA

About the role:

The Regional Director of Sales for Southeast Asia (SEA) will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales strategy, and managing a high-performing sales team within the region. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence and partnerships across SEA countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The successful candidate will have strong experience in enterprise software sales, industry exposure to payments, fraud prevention, or e-commerce solutions, and a deep understanding of the SEA market landscape.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive growth, increase market penetration, and achieve revenue targets across the SEA region.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a regional sales team, providing clear goals, feedback, and performance management to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the SEA region. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with enterprise clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting on sales performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align the sales process with customer needs and market trends.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of fraud prevention trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the SEA region. Utilize this knowledge to position the company as a market leader.
  • Regional Travel: Travel across SEA countries as needed to meet with clients, partners, and internal teams.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth for a B2B enterprise software company focused on fraud prevention, payments, e-commerce, and/or the identity security industry
  • 5+ years of previous experience in an Enterprise Account Executive position achieving large quota targets.
  • Strong experience working in the SEA region, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and local business cultures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong network of contacts within the region’s enterprise and technology sectors, ideally with a focus on the payments landscape.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Understading and utilization of MEDDPICC sales methodology. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Hybrid work:
