Staff Engineer, Product Offering

Israel - Tel Aviv

About the role

We’re looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Disputes product leadership team.
Disputes are critical for consumer protection, but they’re also exploited by fraudsters, putting merchants at risk. Our team is building intelligent, scalable systems to help businesses fight back — and protect revenue with minimal friction.
You’ll bring technical leadership to a complex, evolving domain — guiding key decisions, and working cross-functionally with product, and analytics. If you enjoy shaping a technical vision in a dynamic environment and love solving hard problems with real-world impact, we’d love to meet you!

What you get by working with us as a Staff Engineer:

  • Experience working on complex offline and online architecture
  • Collaboration in a friendly, high-talent-density environment
  • High agency to execute your technical vision
  • Working on an up-and-coming offering in a stable company

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of experience building and maintaining complex backend systems using modern programming languages, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a tech lead/architect/team lead.
  • Passion and experience overseeing a product’s entire lifecycle.
  • Strong product orientation — thinking beyond the code and caring about how technical decisions support customer needs and business goals.
  • Experience designing and working with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strive to uphold top-notch software engineering practices such as high-quality code, thorough testing, and clear & comprehensive documentation.
  • Promote production, product, and growth mindsets.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong communication skills including stakeholder management.
  • Significant experience with various data stores and pipelines such as Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, and MySQL.
  • Experience with AWS or other public clouds.
