Principal People Partner

As a Principal People Partner, you will serve as a strategic leader within the HR function, collaborating closely with our executive team and senior leaders to drive Forter’s people strategy for the Go-to-Market organizations. You will play a pivotal role in organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and culture-building, ensuring we have the right talent, structure, and capabilities to scale with agility. You will champion our People & Team Operating Principles—fostering collaboration, lifting others up, and driving accountability.
This position will be located in NY and follow a hybrid model.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as a key strategic partner to our executive GTM leaders,, shaping and executing a long-term people strategy aligned with business goals.
- Provide high-level consultation on complex organizational challenges, including workforce planning, culture transformation, and leadership effectiveness.
- Own and lead cross-functional HR initiatives that drive business outcomes, shaping policies, programs, and systems for the future.
- Design and implement organizational structures that enable agility, efficiency, and high performance.
- Develop and drive enterprise-wide talent strategies, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, forecast talent needs, and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring teams can adapt and excel in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Champion culture and engagement, ensuring Forter’s values and operating principles are embedded across the organization.
What you’ll need:
- 12+ years of HRBP experience, with a track record of influencing C-Level leaders and driving business impact.
- Deep expertise in organizational design, talent strategy, and leadership development.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective people strategies.
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret analytics and use insights to shape decision-making.
- A strategic and proactive approach to navigating and leading change in high-growth environments.
- A solutions-oriented mindset, driving action and measurable impact.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to mentor and develop senior HR leaders.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities, fostering trust across all levels of the organization.

At Forter, we have embraced a hybrid work model that combines the benefits of in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. As part of this exciting approach, Team members are invited to work from the office at least 2 days per week. Within these two days, we encourage employees to join each week, for a department Team Day and for a Hub Day within each office. Your recruiter will share the specifics of these days.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, and skill level.
