This position is responsible for the installation and configuration of Fortra Security Services IBM i software for customers and assisting with the preparation of monthly security reports for those customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist clients with installation of security software on their IBM i systems.
- Guide customers through best practice processes to help ensure successful adoption of solution.
- Configure and document software settings and deployment architecture to meet Fortra and customer requirements.
- Resolve any identified issues or concerns related to the software implementation.
- Document and escalate complex issues to Support.
- Train end users, answer software questions, and provide training aids.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly security reports for Security Services customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A four-year degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience and accreditations will be considered
- 1+ years of experience working with IBM i operating system.
- 1+ years of experience in information security, enterprise risk and compliance, etc.
- Applicable IT or security certifications not expected but an added benefit (e.g., CobiT, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.).
- Confident and positive attitude in facing complex organizations and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently while communicating effectively to keep others informed.
- Effective interpersonal and professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Builds strong customer relationships through responsiveness and expertise.
- Strong presentation skills. Comfortable leading a small group through discovery workshops and training sessions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
