The Director of D365 F&O is responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving innovation and optimization. This role drives digital transformation across finance, supply chain, and operations departments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring our Dynamics 365 environment is scalable, efficient, and aligned with our long-term growth strategy.   

In This Role 

Functional and Technical Oversight

  • Develop new ideassolutions and structures; drive thought leadership in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O 
  • Architect scalable, end-to-end solutions to streamline complex F&O programs
  • Leverage the Feature Management workspace to proactively adopt new D365 capabilities, enhancing system functionality and user productivity
  • Provide strategic counsel to C-suite shaping business development roadmaps and establishing industry-leading best practices. developed
  • Mentor existing technical resources in Dynamics 365 architecture best practices, implement robust governance frameworks to increase system stability and scalability, while fostering an innovative environment for continuous improvement. 
  • Integrate risk management directly into the technical development lifecycle – identify vulnerabilities early and implement robust solutions for complex functionality challenges. Enforce rigorous technical compliance standards across product development
  • Accountable for financial governance, forecasting, and compliance with the D365 budget

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales support managers to deliver results aligned with Four Hands' strategic objectives
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, encouraging idea sharing and best practices
  • Foster individual growth and skill enhancement through regular feedback, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
  • Monitor progress towards goals through regular check-ins and performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to analyze performance outcomes, identify areas for enhancement, and propose innovative solutions
  • Foster a culture of trust, teamwork, and collaboration, promoting continuous improvement and employee engagement

The Ideal Candidate 

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with ERP systems 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or relevant discipline; PMP or relevant Microsoft certifications preferred
  • Experience translating technical information into easy-to-understand business concepts
  • Comprehensive understanding of D365 F&O implementation lifecycle, functional capabilities, and technical architecture
  • Experience delivering the full project life cycle, strong understanding of SDLC processes (Azure, DevOps, LCS), and X++ programming language  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as: Azure (Cloud Platform, Data Lake, Services Bus), Power BI, PowerApps, Flow, .NET C#, SQL Server, and SQL development  
  • Experience with source control management systems such as Visual Studio 
  • Sound knowledge with: Logic App, PowerApps, Event Hub, Power Automate, Message Services (SOAP / REST, XML, JSON, EDI), Messaging technologies, Cloud Knowledge (Azure/AWS), Version Control (Azure DevOps, GitHub, TFS), and API technologies. IPAAS (Boomi, Cleo, MuleSoft)
