About The Role
The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be a member of the Strategic Finance & Insights team, reporting to the Director. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic financial plans, managing cost center reporting, and providing comprehensive financial reporting. Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and expense tracking is essential.
As the Senior FP&A Analyst, you will add value through your:
Financial Reporting Acumen:
- Lead and manage the preparation of monthly actuals reporting, including variance analysis and narrative commentary.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date cost center reports.
- Prepare and update financial forecasts, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow projections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the annual budget.
- Track and manage accruals to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
Ability to Integrate Financial Insights into Business Operations:
- Work directly with management and cost center owners to support business decisions
- Lead any root-cause analysis, fact-finding, data gathering, and reporting needed for ad hoc financial analyses
- Proficient in distilling large amounts of data into digestible and actionable insights for a leadership audience.
- Ensure that any analyses or data deep-dives aren’t solely academic exercises but drive change and impact for their audience
- Regularly communicate with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure follow-through on analyses / deliverables and take ownership of the timeliness of progress
- Manage multiple deliverables concurrently; clearly organize and articulate deliverables of respective projects and key milestones on relevant timelines
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Prior experience in an industry with inventory management, manufacturing, and/or logistics components a plus
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis; prior FP&A experience preferred
- Experience with Vena or other reporting tools. Power BI / Tableau experience a plus
- Experience in cost center reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in an evolving and fast-paced business environment
- A self-starter able to operate autonomously but also work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, stay organized, and contribute a point-of-view
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and change direction based on business needs
- A sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative and be proactive
- Strong time management skills
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
