Who You Are:

You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience managing data remediation workstreams and maintaining client static data within a capital markets environment. You take ownership of your work, demonstrating accountability and a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues as needed. Your strong attention to detail ensures data integrity, and you thrive in a collaborative team setting. Ideally, you possess financial services-related qualifications that complement your knowledge of the industry and enhance your ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze and manage reference data related to digital asset and traditional trading products (equities, derivatives etc.), including product specifications, market data, counterparty information, and pricing
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of reference data across Galaxy’s systems and databases
  • Conduct daily validation in the firm’s strategic reference data application to maintain data quality
  • Develop and implement data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or anomalies
  • Collaborate with trading, risk management, compliance, technology teams, and data vendors to resolve data issues and enhance data quality
  • Complete all daily and monthly tasks within deadlines
  • General support for Galaxy’s Operations team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in Operations with products, systems and technology
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points:

  • Market Data vendor knowledge, i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-look ups
  • Passion for digital assets and cryptocurrencies
