Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have 1 - 5 years of experience working in either a public accounting role or a mix of public and private, ideally focusing on hedge funds or private equity/venture capital funds. This person will sit on the asset management team and this is a great opportunity to be extremely proactive within the firm and work across hedge funds, ventures capital funds, fund of funds, and public ETF products. The candidate will also get the unique opportunity to get exposure to middle office operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Review the daily, monthly, and quarterly Fund accounting package and investor reporting for hedge funds (equities/crypto), venture capital funds, fund of funds, and public ETF products
• Reconcile capital activity, subscriptions/redemptions, and contributions/distributions for investors across all Fund products
• Manage fund cash and expense tracking
• Communicate with the Portfolio Manager and investment team for trading activity and cash balances and reconcile/review trade activity detail
• Assist in valuation processes across all Fund products
• Assist with trade settlements for cryptocurrencies
• Assist with product development and fund launches
• Assist the operations team with account onboardings, system implementations, process improvements etc.
• Work with internal legal/compliance and the fund administrator, respond to investor inquiries, and support Operational Due Diligence sessions

 What We’re Looking For:

• 1 - 5 years’ experience with a strong background in finance and public/private accounting
• Experience coordinating with third party fund administrators
• Experience in completing audits of hedge funds or venture capital funds
• Well organized
• Strong excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task

Bonus Points:

• Experience in digital assets/crypto currencies
• Experience in client service or communicating with investors
• A background or understanding of operations, pricing, and trade settlement
