VP of Provider Sales

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to head our Provider Sales function. Garner’s unique approach to physician analytics has enabled us to attract some of the most sophisticated provider organizations as clients. Building on this early success, we are expanding our suite of products in the Provider segment. The VP of Provider Sales will lead growth efforts for this segment, spearheading our relationships and distribution strategy with various healthcare service providers nationwide. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, experience working with or for provider organizations, and an interest in expanding our footprint in this space.
Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is open to individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel for sales and visits to headquarters. This role reports directly to the General Manager of our Provider business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building out and owning Garner’s distribution model for multiple types of healthcare service providers of all sizes, including defining the economic model and sales process.
- Closing new deals and forming strategic partnerships with both regional and national healthcare service providers.
- Growing and developing Garner’s brand and presence within the provider community.
- Partnering with executive leadership to refine the company’s distribution strategy for this segment.
- Executing necessary actions to achieve annual sales goals.
The ideal candidate has:
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership roles with revenue responsibilities.
- Previous experience in managed care and/or building relationships with hospital systems, provider groups, ACOs, and healthcare vendors.
- A deep understanding of value-based care and healthcare economics.
- Strong strategic account planning and execution skills.
- A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with significant growth potential.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 annually. This position is also commission-eligible. Compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role can participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
