GenScript European division, headquartered in Rijswijk, Netherlands, with a branch office in Oxford, UK, was established in 2019 to serve as a hub for commercial, technical support, and logistics in the European and UK regions. Are you a recent graduate with a Master's or PhD in Life Sciences, and confident with your laboratory skills in fields such as cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or molecular biology? Are you ready to get into your first job in biotech industry? GenScript Europe is on the lookout for a Technical Account Representative to become an integral part of our vibrant Latin & Nordic team, acting as the bridge between our valued customers and internal teams. You’ll work closely with our Sales team, engaging in pre-order discussions with customers to understand customer projects in depth, and provide accurate, customized quotations that reflect their goals. This is a unique opportunity to combine your scientific expertise with customer-facing experience in a fast-growing biotech environment.

Working Scheme: Hybrid in Rijswijk, Netherlands / Remote in Spain, Portugal, or Italy.

Working Time: 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full charge of the daily operation of the customer service function that handles all initial inquiries from customers, dealers, and the general public regarding order placement, complaints, technical support and etc.
• Provide primary technical advice to customers with practical information and tools; identify and interpret customers’ requirements, shape these requirements to fit the business unit’s capabilities, and communicate these to customers.
• Work closely with the business unit Sales Account Manager as a consultant to clients in technical matters and improve customer satisfaction.
• Attends trade/technical shows and gives technical presentations to customers.

Main Requirements:

• Solid professional technical background, minimum Master's Degree in relevant life science fields including but not limited to cell biology, immunology, biochemistry and molecular biology.
• Fluent in Spanish and English is a must.
• Proficiency in any Nordic languages (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Icelandic or Swedish) is an added advantage.
• Good presentation skills with technical content.
• Customer-focused, proactive/action-oriented.
• Previous industry experience in a similar commercial role will be advantageous but is not essential.
• A Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
