GenScript is seeking a QC Testing Assistant Researcher for our US Protein Production team in Piscataway, NJ. This role involves performing analytical testing and characterization of protein products to support research, development, and production activities, and completing the test data analysis work in a timely manner.
The estimated salary range is $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for generating Certificate of Analysis (COA) documents to ensure stable daily production.
- Be responsible for performing and reviewing Quality Control (QC) testing data (such as SDS-PAGE, Capillary Electrophoresis -SDS (CE - SDS), HPLC Chromatograms etc.) to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements and specifications.
- Be responsible for collecting issues from this position and its upstream/downstream processes, promoting problem analysis and resolution to improve the accuracy of this position.
- Summarize and analyze the experimental data as required, upload the data to the recording system, analyze and sort out the non - compliant data, and assist in the delivery of the final samples for delivery.
- Conduct experimental operations, draft and review records in accordance with the quality management and compliance requirements of the department. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- BS/MS in biology-related majors are preferred, Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical, Medicine or other related disciplines with relevant experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, UV-Vis, or similar is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly document and present data.
