Job Scope
GenScript is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our cell and gene therapy-related product portfolio across Europe.
This role is ideal for a results-driven, self-motivated professional with a strong industry network and deep understanding of the cell and gene therapy (CGT) ecosystem. The candidate should be passionate about enabling customer success and capable of translating technical knowledge into commercial opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead business development and sales activities across Europe for cell and gene therapy-related products and solutions
- Build and expand relationships with key stakeholders, including biotech companies, CDMOs, academic institutions, and core facilities
- Leverage your existing network to identify new opportunities and accelerate business growth
- Act as a trusted partner to customers by understanding their technical needs and aligning solutions accordingly
- Drive strategic account development and manage complex sales cycles
- Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
What We Expect From You
- Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related fields
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the life sciences or biopharma industry
- Strong experience in cell therapy (required)
- Deep familiarity with the European biotech landscape and core facility ecosystem
- Proven track record of building and leveraging industry networks to drive business outcomes.
