The Role

We're looking for a Mixed Methods Researcher who can seamlessly move between qualitative and quantitative research—someone who sees numbers and narratives as two sides of the same story. You'll be the bridge between what users say and what they do, supporting Product Marketing and Marketing teams with behavioral analysis, Voice of Consumer programs, and longitudinal tracking that actually drives decisions. This isn't research for reports that sit in folders. This is research that gets used.

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute mixed-methods studies that integrate qualitative depth with quantitative rigor
  • Own Voice of Consumer programs—building structured feedback loops beyond ad-hoc research
  • Conduct behavioral analysis to uncover decision heuristics and identify user cohorts
  • Track longitudinal shifts in consumer sentiment and behavior
  • Translate complex findings into plain English, actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with Data Science on user profile intelligence and behavioral segmentation
  • Support Product Marketing with copy guidance and product presentation insights
  • Adapt research methodologies for cross-cultural contexts as we expand globally

What You Bring

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in user research, consumer insights, or applied behavioral research
  • Demonstrated ability to design studies that blend qualitative methods (interviews, ethnography, usability testing) with quantitative approaches (surveys, behavioral data analysis, statistical testing)
  • Experience translating research into strategic recommendations that influenced product or marketing decisions
  • Strong command of survey design, sampling, and statistical interpretation
  • Comfort with ambiguity—you fix bad questions before answering them

Preferred:

  • Global research exposure—direct / in-direct experience conducting research in international markets or adapting methodologies for cross-cultural contexts (APAC/Japan experience is a plus)
  • Experience with panel management or longitudinal research programs
  • Background in behavioral science, psychology, or related fields
  • Familiarity with experiment design and A/B test interpretation
