About the Role 

As Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations, you will work at the center of the Global Marketing team, supporting our priority markets - the US and Japan. 

You will partner closely with the VP of Global Consumer Marketing to set priorities, decide where to invest time and budget, and turn company goals into clear marketing plans across these regions. You will also run the day-to-day rhythm of the team, ensuring teams are aligned, goals are tracked, and key initiatives move forward on time. 

You will work across Marketing, Product, Distribution, Finance, Legal, and People to ensure plans are clear, progress is visible, and resources are focused on what matters most in each market. 

 

 

What You'll Do 

Marketing Strategy & Business Planning 

  • Support the development of annual and quarterly marketing strategy across the US and Japan. 
  • Translate company goals into clear marketing priorities, plans, and measurable targets. 
  • Build business cases and financial models to guide budget allocation and investment trade-offs. 
  • Conduct market, competitor, and performance analysis to inform planning decisions. 
  • Support go-to-market strategy for new markets, major launches, and device-surface expansions. 

Leadership Enablement 

  • Partner closely with the VP of Global Consumer Marketing on high-priority initiatives and decision-making. 
  • Prepare structured briefs, analysis, and recommendations for leadership reviews. 
  • Shape clear, concise executive narratives for internal and board-level forums. 
  • Track progress against goals and surface risks, trade-offs, and opportunities early. 

Cross-Functional Execution & Stakeholder Alignment 

  • Drive annual and quarterly planning cycles, including goal-setting and budget alignment. 
  • Own the marketing operating calendar and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews. 
  • Ensure alignment across Marketing, Product, Distribution, Finance, Legal, and People. 
  • Identify execution gaps, resolve cross-functional blockers, and keep initiatives on track. 
  • Monitor performance through dashboards, linking spend to outcomes and growth metrics. 

Partnerships & External Engagement 

  • Support strategic partnerships that advance marketing, distribution, and growth priorities. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs for partner launches and joint initiatives. 
  • Prepare materials and analysis for external partner reviews. 
  • Represent the marketing function in select cross-company or external working groups when required. 

 

What We're Looking For 

  • Mandatory: 2-4 years of experience in management consulting (Tier-1 or equivalent). 
  • 4-6 years of total professional experience across strategy, consulting, business operations, or marketing strategy; consumer tech preferred. 
  • Strong analytical capability, including experience building financial models and evaluating ROI. 
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver structured, clear, and persuasive recommendations. 
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives. 
  • High ownership mindset and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. 
  • MBA or equivalent from a strong institution preferred.
