You will focus on building strategic 1:1 relationships with premium and mid-market retailers in categories like fashion, beauty, and accessories, driving the adoption of Glance’s Agentic Commerce platform in the U.S. retail market.  

 

The Role 

We are looking for a Enterprise Sales Director to lead strategic growth across the commerce & retail vertical for Glance in North America.  

This is a highly strategic, senior IC role focused on owning and expanding relationships with enterprise brands, merchants, retailers and retail portfolio companies. You will play a critical role in introducing a new category—AI-driven discovery commerce—to the market and driving adoption with some of the most influential players in retail, bringing their products to life across Glance.  

 

What You’ll Do 

Own Enterprise Revenue Growth 

  • Build and manage a pipeline of large, strategic retail accounts (enterprise brands, retailers, and multi-brand portfolio companies)  
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through close  
  • Drive net-new acquisition and expansion within key accounts  

Sell a New Category 

  • Evangelize agentic commerce and AI-driven discovery to senior executives (C-suite, digital, eCommerce, marketing)  
  • Position Glance as a strategic growth partner, not just a vendor  
  • Translate emerging product capabilities into clear business value (engagement, conversion, incremental revenue)  
  • Represent Glance at industry-defining moments — NRF, Shoptalk, Cannes, CES 

Develop Strategic Relationships 

  • Build deep relationships across commerce, marketing, product, and innovation teams  
  • Navigate and influence large, matrixed organizations  
  • Partner closely with executive stakeholders to shape long-term vision and roadmap alignment  

Drive Strategic Deals 

  • Structure and negotiate enterprise-level partnerships and pilots  
  • Lead consultative sales processes that align to client objectives and KPIs  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (product, partnerships, marketing) to deliver tailored solutions  

Inform GTM & Product 

  • Bring market feedback and customer insight into product and GTM strategy  
  • Help refine messaging, packaging, and vertical strategy for the retail segment  
  • Contribute to building a repeatable enterprise sales motion  

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally selling into retail, commerce or major consumer brands.  
  • Experience selling one or more of:  retail media, media/ad platforms, commerce technology, martech, marketplace development or retail business development 
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex deals with enterprise retail brands and merchants  
  • Deep understanding of the retail, eCommerce, and digital marketing ecosystem  
  • Experience selling into C-level and senior executives  
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate innovation into business impact  
  • Comfortable operating in a 0→1, fast-paced environment and helping define the category  
  • Your Network: Experience working with or selling to brands, multi-brand portfolios, holding companies, or large retail groups across Fashion, Apparel, Accessories. Bonus points for relationships across beauty home, travel & pet.  

Skills:  

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building 1:1 relationship. 
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in premium and mid-market retail segments. 
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. 
  • Ability to translate retailer feedback into actionable insights for product and marketing teams. 
  • Leadership: Strong team player with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional global teams while leading high-impact initiatives. 
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Passion for innovation and driving business growth in a hyper-growth environment.  

Education: BA or BS degree required; MBA or degree in marketing, or a related field—(Nice to have but not required)

Our compensation philosophy enables us to provide a competitive salary that drives high performance while balancing business needs and pay parity. We determine compensation on a wide variety of factors, including role, nature of experience, skills, and location. 

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from XXXXXX-XXXXXX. This salary range is applicable for our offices located in California and New York*. In addition, an InMobian may also receive variable pay in the form of an annual variable bonus or quarterly variable bonus/sales incentive, as deemed per policy, in addition to fixed compensation. 

*Our ranges may vary based on final location/region in accordance with the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country. 

In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of a stock grant known as Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
