About the Role 

We are looking for a Product Manager to define and evolve the shopping experience on Glance TV, working closely with engineering, ML, and design teams. 

This is a hands-on product role for someone who cares deeply about the future of AI-powered shopping on TV. You will shape how users discover products, engage with recommendations, and move from inspiration to intent on the biggest screen in the home. 

A core part of this role is working with AI directly — not as a user of AI tools, but as someone building an AI product. You will work on the prompts and AI behaviours that power the shopping experience, iterating on outputs, evaluating quality, and improving how the product responds to user intent. You do not need to be an AI expert. You do need to be curious enough to sit with it, figure it out, and apply what you learn. 

TV is becoming an intelligent, interactive, commerce-enabled surface. In this role, you will help define what AI-led shopping looks and feels like on that surface — with the speed, ownership, and resourcefulness of an early-stage product team. 

What You Will Own: 

  • Shopping experience end-to-end: Own the agentic shopping experience across the Glance TV — discovery flows, product presentation, engagement loops, and the overall feel of shopping on TV.
  • AI behaviour and output quality: Work hands-on with the prompts and AI systems that power the shopping experience. Iterate, evaluate, and improve — in close collaboration with ML engineers.
  • Consumer experience quality: Ensure the experience feels native to TV: remote-first, visually premium, low-friction, performant, and genuinely useful to the user.
  • Growth and funnel improvement: Use data to improve activation, engagement, interaction depth, and retention across the shopping experience.
  • Cross-functional execution: Work day to day with engineering, ML, and design to move from idea to shipped product — unblocking execution and keeping momentum. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Shape the agentic shopping experience on Glance TV — what it should feel like, how it should behave, and what makes it useful and delightful on a large screen.
  • Work directly on the AI layer — iterating on prompts, evaluating output quality, and improving how the product surfaces recommendations, responds to user context, and adapts over time.
  • Translate user needs, data signals, and AI capabilities into clear product requirements, UX flows, and prioritised roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with ML engineers to understand model behaviour, identify gaps in output quality, and drive improvements through prompt iteration and product instrumentation.
  • Work with design to craft shopping experiences that are visually premium, TV-native, and easy to navigate with a remote.
  • Use data to identify where the experience breaks down, where engagement drops, and what changes will move the needle.
  • Operate with high ownership in a fast-moving environment where the product, AI capabilities, and user understanding are all evolving quickly. 

What We Are Looking For 

Must-have 

  • 3–5 years of product management experience on consumer products.
  • Strong consumer product judgment — you have an instinct for what makes an experience feel good, and you can articulate why.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and how it works. You do not need an ML background, but you should be willing to get into the details — understand why a model behaves a certain way, experiment with prompts, and form a point of view on what better looks like.
  • Hands-on experience iterating on AI outputs — whether through prompt experimentation, working closely with ML teams, or building basic AI demos or prototypes.
  • Comfort making product decisions with incomplete information and changing inputs.
  • Ability to use data to diagnose problems, prioritise improvements, and measure impact.
  • Clear written and verbal communication — you can simplify complex problems for different audiences without losing precision. 

Good-to-have 

  • Experience with shopping, commerce, content discovery, or recommendation-led products.
  • Familiarity with TV, large-screen, or multi-surface product environments.
  • Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, or agentic product experiences.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments where scrappy execution matters. 

This Role Is NOT 

  • A role where problems come pre-defined and solutions waiting to be executed.
  • A role for someone who needs full clarity before they can move.
  • A documentation or process-heavy role. 

You Will Thrive in This Role If 

  • You are comfortable not knowing — and good at figuring things out anyway.
  • You find the AI layer of the product genuinely interesting, and you want to understand it well enough to shape it, not just describe it.
  • You move between a user insight, an AI output quality problem, a UX detail, and a data signal without losing the thread.
  • You have strong product taste but are pragmatic about constraints, timelines, and what can actually ship.
  • You build trust with engineers and ML teams because you show up prepared, get into the details, and follow through.
  • You believe the future of shopping is AI-led and you want to help define what that means on TV.
