The Team
Our UK&I Partner Team is responsible for managing relationships with our regional strategic partners, identifying opportunities across the Partners SAM (serviceable addressable market), and delivering mutual growth. We're a dynamic and high-performing team focused on maximizing the value of our extensive and diverse partner network. You’d be working alongside team members managing Partner Acquisition (bringing new partners on board) and our Partner Scale Base (a larger cohort of 150 growing partners).
The Role
We're looking for a dynamic, commercially-driven Partner Account Manager to accelerate our growth by unlocking significant new revenue from 6-10 existing, verticalised partners. This role requires proactive engagement and strategic execution to drive mutual business objectives and scalable partnership success.
What excites you
- Expand Partnership Value & Win Big: Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue from your partner portfolio. This means working closely with our sales and product teams to coordinate efforts that lead to commercial wins across both new and existing business.
- Lead High-Impact Go-to-Market (GTM) Initiatives: Drive and execute compelling, partner-facing activity, like webinars and joint campaigns, with clear commercial goals and measurable results.
- Understand and Align with Partner Needs: Maintain a consistent exploration to understand what our partners want to achieve and what challenges they face. You'll want to ensure our objectives are aligned throughout the entire partnership, continually assessing their potential for deeper, long-term strategic collaboration.
- Negotiate and Structure Partnerships: You'll take the lead on commercial and contractual negotiations, ensuring all partners and internal stakeholders are accountable and delivering on their commitments.
- Build Strong, Lasting Relationships: Cultivate powerful, long-term relationships with key external stakeholders whilst working with and leveraging internal teams (like Sales, CSMs, and Implementation) to drive mutual success.
What excites us
- Strategic Commercial Acumen: Proven success in identifying, developing, and nurturing partnerships or client relationships towards shared goals (e.g., in Partnerships, Account Management, B2B Sales). This includes experience in applying a strategic lens to understand motivations, market trends, and identifying clear pathways to commercial success.
- Exceptional Relationship Builder: A natural ability to rapidly build rapport and solid foundations with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and Results-Oriented Driver: A proactive self-starter able to independently prioritize complex engagements, drive results with initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Insight and Curiosity: Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends and partner needs for informed decision-making. This is coupled with an inherent curiosity about how both our business and our partners and merchants work; you have the drive to ask questions to enrich your understanding.
- Adaptability and Industry Knowledge: Comfortable navigating dynamic environments and shifting priorities as business pivot and scale. Familiarity with Fintech, Payments, or SaaS business models is ideal but not essential.
