Director, Ticket Sales (GSV)

About the Position

The Golden State Valkyries are looking for an innovative sales and service leader to oversee our Ticketing team. In this role, you will mentor and develop a growing sales team and ensure pacing towards goals. Additionally, you will generate and maximize ticket revenue, provide outstanding service, assist with the development and implementation of sales/service strategies and build partnerships with various stakeholders. This position reports to the Senior vice President, Ticketing & Events.

This position is a full-time position based onsite in Oakland, CA with games in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead sales/service reps in their efforts to achieve sales goals
  • Design and oversee reporting protocols to monitor and assess team performance regularly
  • Assist in developing opportunities and experiences provided to season ticket holders
  • Assist in development and execution of sales and service strategies
  • Serve as an internal advocate for ticket sales and service efforts and our company values
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in sports and entertainment sales/service role; minimum 1-2 years of supervisory management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Archtics and Salesforce CRM
  • Experience eclipsing ambitious revenue targets
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influence
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and throughout the community
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment

Time Commitment

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule as evenings and weekends are required

Compensation

  • $95,000 + Bonus
