Quality Master

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Master with proven expertise in QA frameworks, test design, automation, and performance methods and tools. 
In this role, you will elevate the quality of our growing platform by providing domain leadership and guidance to R&D and Product teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and the delivery of high-quality, reliable SaaS solutions.

As a Quality Master, you will:

• Lead the development of a forward-thinking QA strategy—methodologies, standards, and execution plans—to ensure high quality across Gong’s solutions.
• Partner with engineering leadership to establish a robust QA and testing framework, including quality criteria, advanced methods, and tools.
• Collaborate with Customer Success leaders to continuously assess and prioritize customer-perceived quality issues, ensuring engineering efforts align with the most impactful areas for improvement and real-world use cases.
• Define and monitor quality metrics that provide actionable insights, ensuring transparency in testing outcomes and enabling data-driven decisions.
• Design and implement automation testing architecture and infrastructure.
• Introduce innovative approaches and industry best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA framework continuously.
• Analyze the root causes of quality issues, proposing and implementing actionable recovery and improvement plans.
• Oversee product release quality and risk management for our applications and SaaS platform.
• Lead a quality-first mindset across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

     You should apply if you have:

• 10+ years of experience leading and/or owning the product QA domain.
• 5+ years of experience managing performance and scale testing environments and best practices.
• Hands-on experience building test plans, automation scripts, and related frameworks.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux, including scripting skills and CI tools in a cloud environment, such as Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience leading the quality of SaaS products used by thousands of customers at a very high scale.
• Experience managing functional and non-functional testing, including performance, stability, and upgradability testing.
• Tools experience: Playwright, Cypress, Applitools, Gatling, Jmeter, Artillery.
• DevOps background — an advantage.
• Production SaaS environment at scale / Kubernetes experience — an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead in a multidisciplinary matrix environment.
