We’re seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to lead our corporate legal function. This role will be responsible for a wide range of corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, entity management (particularly in support of international expansion), and securities compliance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure strong governance frameworks, regulatory readiness, and operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee corporate governance matters, including preparation and review of board and committee materials, and development of governance programs
- Manage domestic and international subsidiary governance, including formation, registration, compliance, and ongoing management
- Collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders on disclosure and regulatory issues
- Provide strategic support on corporate transactions and other legal initiatives as they arise
- Advise on securities law compliance and lead preparation of periodic SEC and stock exchange filings (including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, Section 16 reports, and other 1934 Act filings)
QUALIFICATIONS
- JD degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 4-7+ years of relevant experience at a top law firm and/or in-house legal department, with a focus on public company representation and securities compliance
- Deep familiarity with SEC regulations, exchange listing standards, and public company governance practices
- Exceptional judgment and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice across all levels of the organization
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and adept at navigating ambiguity

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $208,000 - $245,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
